Offmap

"Offmap" is a term that is referred to as a plethora of things, they can be people, departments, brands, vehicles, gangs, buildings, etc that is role-played in-game, however, is not physically there either scripted or mapped in due to gameplay concessions. These things may or may not be able to be facilitated in the future, that is why they are role-played as existing.

Examples

An example of an offmap location may be the Davis Sheriff's Station. This is based on the Compton Sheriff's Station led by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), however, is not able to be facilitated at the current moment of time.

Another example could be the San Andreas Highway Patrol (based off of the California Highway Patrol). This is not an actual faction in the server, however, people still role-play it existing.
